Terms of Service

Effective date: August 10, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Simpson Family Ventures LLC ("we", "us") for the use of Beacon.

What Beacon does

Beacon helps a private practice be found online. It builds a monthly content plan from real search data and your own words, writes content in your voice, checks that content against your practice's facts and against outside sources, and helps you publish it. Beacon is a marketing tool. It is not a clinical tool, and it plays no part in the care you provide.

Your account

Keep your login details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

What you put into Beacon

You keep ownership of everything you provide: your answers, your brand material, your website content. You give us permission to use it to operate Beacon for you.

Do not put client information into Beacon. Beacon is not built to hold protected health information, and we do not accept it. When you describe your work, describe it in general terms.

What Beacon creates for you

You own the content Beacon generates for you, once it exists in your account. Use it however you like.

You are responsible for what you publish. This is the most important thing in these terms. Beacon writes drafts. It checks them against what you told us and against outside sources, and it tells you when it cannot verify something. But you are the professional, the content goes out under your name and your license, and you must read it before it is published. Do not publish anything you have not reviewed and do not believe to be true.

Beacon can be wrong. AI-generated writing can contain mistakes, including confident ones. Beacon's quality checks reduce that risk and are not a guarantee. If Beacon tells you it could not verify a claim, take that seriously.

Professional and advertising rules are yours to follow

You are subject to your licensing board, your professional association, and advertising law. Rules about testimonials, outcome claims, and how you describe your services vary by profession and by state, and they are stricter for licensed practitioners than for most businesses. Beacon does not know your board's rules. Reviewing content against them is your responsibility.

Connected accounts

If you connect Google or other services, you confirm you have the right to do so. You can disconnect at any time. We access only what you approve.

Fees

Fees, billing period, and what is included are as agreed with you in writing. If we change pricing we will tell you in advance.

Availability

We work to keep Beacon running and we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Outside services Beacon depends on can fail or change, sometimes without warning.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Beacon at any time and ask us to delete your account. We can end this agreement if you break these terms or misuse the service. If we end it without cause, we will refund any period you paid for and did not receive.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or lost business. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida.

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we will tell you before the change takes effect.
